Jean's Green Beans (pressure cooker)

Sauté about 1/2 lb of mushrooms in butter.

At the same time cook 1-2 lb of whole fresh green beans in the pressure cooker. (Mine calls for 1/2 cup of water, salt to taste, cook at 15 lb pressure for 3 minutes after the control starts to jiggle, reduce pressure immediately under running water.)

Drain beans.

Toss mushrooms & beans with 3-4 T chopped fresh basil if available (3-4 tsp, or less of dried-to taste).
Add 2 or 3 chopped green onions.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

We love this. The beans are a nice color and not overcooked, yet are not tough like with some other methods.
