Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie

Pie crust of your choice.

Filling:
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup dark corn syrup or molasses
4 eggs
1 Tbs. bourbon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup pecan halves, toasted
3/4 cup semi-sweet choc chips, melted, and cooled to room temp.
Pecan halves
Semi sweet chocolate chips, melted
Whipped cream

In mixing bowl combine sugar, butter, corn syrups, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Beat at medium speed until well combined. Stir in melted choc, mix to combine. Stir in Bourbon. Pour into prepared pie shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes, then lower heat to 350 and bake for 25 minutes more or until filling is set. If it starts to brown to quickly, cover with foil. Cool to room temp to serve.

Garnish with pecan halves dipped in melted choc, serve with whipped cream.
