Coleslaw with Lemon Buttermilk Dressing

1/3 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp. finely grated lemon zest

Mix the dressing, pour it over the slaw.
Shred or thinly slice a cabbage, a Vidalia onion, and carrot.
Toss to combine, and chill for at least 2 hours.
